Dear

Qualify Welding procedure with E7018 and carry out tensile, bend & impact testing...if all tests are OK you can convince your Client those weld joints are meeting requirement of impact properties.....

Dear Experts,

Our welders are used E7018 instead of 7018-1 for A333 Gr-6.
Now client is asking to cut the joints.
Moreover they are asking to prove the remaining joints whether they are welded with 7018-1 or not.
Can anybody suggest a suitable method such as any NDT to prove that ?
So please send your valuable suggestion with reference to code.

Thanks & regards,

Binu.
