Which of the following mechanical properties of a weld in carbon manganese steel is not

affected if the heat per unit length of weld is excessively high?

B31.3 Severe does not allow I.P however Normal allows 1 ½" in 6" (38mm in any 150 mm of weld length) be careful of what code you are responding to.

If your code is B31.3, please refer to table 341.3.2 to get the answer. Incomplete penetration and surface porosity are not acceptable (no imperfection).

Dear sir,
      6 "  std pipe 7.11mm for normal and M fluid
visually we find incomplete pentration 34mm in any 150mm ,depth 2mm in random manner, is it accepted? please explain
 and we find 1mm or small visually seen porosity on surface of weld ,is need to repair or not? we can grind this but prodution  people not allowed, please explain
