When you are going for furnace PWHT please ensure adequate supports in all time to ensure the distortion is controlled during PWHT..
 
Other than this nothing will affect your job..In fact total PWHT(ie. in furnace) is preferred..

We have 32 frame (Square Flanges) with following dimension 75*2500*3400 mm and the material is SA516 Gr 70 ( PNo.1) each one  have 4 welding line at the corner with length 110 mm , PWHT for this item is suggested to be local the question is 
 
If we make PWHT by furnace is there any problems related to this? and what are this problems?
