Re: [MW:10613] reducing and equal tee modification

Hi there


It appears that it is something more than a mere of a code. I found it in our project technical specification where stated clearly that fabrication of branch connection is not acceptable. Read the entire contents of your project specification to get the answer.

dear all.
 
we have reducing tee 2"/1" installed, but we would to install equal tee 2"/2" , due to unavailability , some one has suggisted to cut 1" outlet and to install 2" pipe is it allowed or possible in ASME B31.1 ?
