dear experts,

very good day all of you.

sir's we are checking hardness of pipe.for this purpose we are using poldi hardness tester.every one know that poldi hardness tester having one standard hardness bar and some value given in that bar.we are taking indentation on bar and test specimen ( that means in piping: parent metal,haz1,weld zone,haz2),after taking two indentations and matching in convertion table.for example: we obtained on pipe parent metal 2.0mm indentation and on bar it is 1.9mm.and these both values we checked in convertion table we obtain 222.my question is this reading is briness hardness value or we have to multiply with standard hardness bar value. pl clarify me

thanks & regards
